Budapest exclusive oversea terminal is listed in Zhengzhou

On the afternoon of February 24, 2021, the listing ceremony of Budapest-Zhengzhou exclusive oversea cargo terminal of China-Hungary freight hub construction project on the "air Silk Road" was held at the international main cargo terminal of Zhengzhou Airport.

On January 26, 2021, the signing ceremony of the China-Hungary freight hub construction project on the "air Silk Road" was held at Zhengzhou Airport. Liu Bo, Minister counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, and Dr.Mosocy Laszlo, State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of innovation and science and technology expressed their congratulations through a video speech. According to the agreement, Henan Airport Group will cooperate to set up an overseas cargo terminal in Europe for the first time.

The responsible official of the cargo terminal of Henan Airport Group, said that the Budapest-Zhengzhou exclusive overseas cargo terminal of China-Hungary freight hub construction project is a new initiative for Zhengzhou Airport to integrate into "the Belt and Road" and "air Silk Road" construction. By building this project, it will create a differentiated competitive advantage of Zhengzhou Airport freight and substantially increase the throughput of cargo and mail. On the other hand, it can solve the development needs of cross-border e-commerce, provide strong logistics foundation support for the development of cross-border e-commerce in Henan, enhance the independent and controllable ability of logistics industry chain, and realize the "national transportation of domestic goods". On January 27 this year, the China-Hungary freight hub construction project on the "air Silk Road" was included in "the first batch of pilot projects to improve the comprehensive support capacity of air logistics" of CAAC. On February 9 this year, the project was added to "the list of achievements of China-Central and Eastern European leaders’ summit", and won national attentions and supports. In the next step, Zhengzhou Airport and Budapest Airport have further laid the foundation for building a development community through resource exchange, and will work together with all parties to create a new situation of high-quality development.

According to the news from Henan Airport Group, after the establishment of Budapest-Zhengzhou exclusive overseas cargo terminal, the operation, information and other data interconnection between Zhengzhou Airport and Budapest Airport cargo terminal will be realized through the "overseas cargo terminal information service platform"; Zhengzhou Airport will be used as the distribution hub in China, and Budapest will be used as the distribution hub in Europe. Through the opening of regular flights, Zhengzhou and Budapest will be connected as their respective windows to realize the connection, integrate all links to provides one-stop service for customers, and realize the collection and distribution of cross-border trade goods between China and Europe. By adding up the respective resource advantages of location, freight station, office space, etc., it will promote the project construction, extend to the port and land port multimodal transport projects, further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Hungary. To build " the Belt and Road " for high-quality, and create a new platform for international cooperation, it will add a new impetus to the Co-development of China and Hungary.
